Terms
These terms cover work booked through The Content Studio by Venusian. Anything specific to an engagement is written into its own scope document, which takes precedence.
Booking and deposits
A Content Day is reserved with a 50% deposit. The date is held once the deposit clears, and the balance is due on the day of the session. Booking requires at least 14 days of lead time.
Rescheduling and cancellation
A session can be moved once with at least seven days' notice, subject to availability. Deposits cover planning work already completed and are non-refundable, but they carry over to a rescheduled date.
Delivery and revisions
Edited files from a Content Day are delivered within 10 business days of the session. 1 revision round is included and returned within 3 business days. Revisions cover adjustments to delivered edits; new concepts or additional filming are new scope.
Ongoing arrangements
The Repurposing Package runs one-time or month to month against a written scope. Deliverable counts, delivery dates and revision rounds are set in that scope before work begins. Changes to scope are agreed in writing before they are produced.
Scope boundaries
Content is produced and handed over ready to publish. Publishing, scheduling, direct messages and comment replies remain with the business. Account access is not requested. Paid ad management, brand and website work run through Venusian under separate terms.
Usage and ownership
On final payment, the business receives full rights to use the delivered content across its own marketing channels, indefinitely. The studio retains the right to show excerpts of the work in a portfolio unless asked in writing not to.
Location and travel
Sessions take place in San Diego, California. Filming happens on location within San Diego County. Travel beyond that is quoted separately before booking.
Client responsibilities
Timely approvals, access to the filming location, and one point of contact keep the timeline intact. Delays in approvals move delivery dates by the same amount of time.
